Afternoon Babysitter for Infant and Toddler

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and attentive babysitter for our 8-month-old baby and 2-year-old toddler in Phoenix, AZ. The position begins on August 2, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Never leave the children unattended.
• Keep all doors locked at all times.
• Contact parents immediately if any issues arise; in emergencies, call 911 first.
• For the 8-month-old baby:
  • Feed only prepared bottles of breast milk or formula.
  • Change diapers as needed.
  • Adhere to the nap schedule.
  • Engage through talking, reading, cuddling, and age-appropriate play activities.
• For the 2-year-old toddler:
  • Facilitate Montessori-style activities such as reading and building blocks.
  • Supervise outdoor play.
  • Offer only approved foods.
  • Use his milk bottle or Ms. Rachel videos to calm during tantrums.
• Serve pre-prepared meals stored in the refrigerator.
• Adhere to household rules: no smoking, no visitors, and no social media posting of the children.

Requirements

• No pets are allowed in the home.
• Must provide loving care and engage creatively with the children.
