Afternoon Babysitter for Children Ages 6 and 8

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and creative babysitter to care for our 8-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl in Tulsa, OK. The position involves providing directed play and enrichment on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Friday during the fall of 2026/2027, with a possibility to extend into the spring semester.

Responsibilities

• Self-directed meal preparation assistance
• Active outdoor playtime
• Oversight of two to three hours of studies/reading
• Occasional transportation
• Contribution to enrichment activities such as practicing foreign language vocabulary, gardening, or teaching basic piano lessons

Requirements

• Comfortable with pets (two dogs and a cat)
• No bathing or bedtime duties required

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children
• Ability to engage in enrichment activities

Benefits

• Base pay starts at $100 per day
• Potential for higher pay based on extracurricular contributions
