Afternoon Babysitter for 9-Year-Old

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and experienced babysitter to drive our 9‑year‑old son to his gymnastics practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The role involves picking him up from his neighborhood school in Woodley Park, Washington, DC, and driving him to practice in Baileys Crossroads, VA. There are no pets in the home, so pet care is not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the child from school in Woodley Park, DC.
• Drive the child to gymnastics practice in Baileys Crossroads, VA.
• Ensure timely arrival at practice.
• Provide a snack in the car.

Requirements

• Childcare experience.
• Competent driver with good references.
• Comfortable driving either your own car or the family’s car.
• Availability Tuesdays and Thursdays from approximately 4:30 PM to 6:15 PM.

Schedule

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, approximately 4:30 PM – 6:15 PM.
