Afternoon Babysitter for 5-Year-Old

About the role

We are seeking a kind and dependable babysitter to engage our imaginative and active 5-year-old daughter, Serena, for a one-time afternoon in Asheville, NC. The opportunity is on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the potential for future occasional sitting if it's a great fit.

Serena loves outdoor play, dressing up, reading, crafts, and games. We are looking for someone who enjoys playing and being creative.

Responsibilities

• Engage Serena in fun, creative activities such as outdoor play, reading, crafts, and games
• Feed Serena during the sitting period

You will not need to drive, bathe, or put Serena to bed. We have a variety of toys and activities available, and you will have my support as I will be home catching up on work.

Requirements

• Experience with young children (preferred)
• CPR/First Aid certification (a bonus)
