Afternoon Babysitter for 3 Children

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, fun, and caring part-time babysitter to assist with our three children most Mondays and Tuesdays during the school year. This position is perfect for a college student, teacher, retired teacher, nanny, or anyone seeking a consistent afternoon job in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the 4‑year‑old from preschool at 12:15 PM, provide lunch, and engage in playtime.
• On Mondays, pick up the 10‑ and 7‑year‑olds from the bus stop and care for all three children until around 4:45 PM.
• On Tuesdays, pick up the 4‑year‑old from preschool and drive the 10‑year‑old to speech therapy, then care for all three children until approximately 4:45 PM.
• Take the family’s young golden retriever out for 1‑2 bathroom breaks in the afternoon.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Safe driving record.
• Genuine enjoyment of being around children.

Schedule

Most Mondays and Tuesdays during the school year, approximately 12:15 PM to 4:45 PM.

Pay

$20/hour.
