Afternoon Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced babysitter for our two children, ages 8 and 10, in Orange County, CA. Our children are sensitive and kind, enjoy quiet activities, and are involved in sports and academic clubs. The family provides a supportive environment with at least one parent working from home in a private office.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to start as late as 2:30 PM. Additional hours may be available for household duties or a possible babysitting night once a week.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the kids from school around 2:30 or 3 PM
• Handle after-school activity drop-offs and pickups
• Prepare snacks
• Engage the children with activities such as park visits, pool time, games, and crafts
• Perform household duties like family laundry or dinner preparation (for additional hours)

Requirements

• Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Non-smoker
• Capable swimmer
• Prior childcare experience
• Referrals required
