About the role
Reliable and patient caregiver-driver needed to assist with the afternoon transport of a 5-year-old boy on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Pick up child from Longleaf Elementary in New Port Richey at 1:45 PM
- Transport him to his ABA center located at 7326 Little Rd
- Ensure arrival by 2:00 PM (drive is approximately 12 minutes)
- Secure child in an appropriate five-point car seat
- Complete the pickup process with school staff
- Ensure a direct hand-to-hand transfer to ABA staff upon arrival
Qualifications
- Ability to offer calm and attentive supervision
- Experience or comfort working with nonverbal children
- Understanding of Level 3 autism needs
Additional details
- Position is potentially short-term — needs will be re-evaluated by ABA on September 1st after the child starts kindergarten
- No pets are present in the home
- The child is described as delightful and easy to transport
