Afternoon and Weekend Support Staff

About the role

Support Staff will work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes, supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill‑building activities, and bringing them into the community to strengthen personal goals outside the home environment. ExpertCare serves a community of mental health recipients in Southeast Michigan. Full‑time and part‑time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support to Recipients in their homes.
• Assist with skill‑building activities and encourage personal development.
• Facilitate community outings to help Recipients achieve personal goals outside the home.
• Follow individualized care plans and documentation requirements.
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the care team.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.
