About the role
ExpertCare is looking for Direct Support Professionals to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. The position involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill building activities, as well as bringing Recipients into the community to support their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Recipients in their daily activities
- Encouraging and motivating Recipients to achieve their goals
- Helping Recipients build new skills
- Bringing Recipients into the community to enhance their personal growth
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
