About the role
ExpertCare is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and helpful Caregiver to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. You will support, encourage, and assist with skill-building activities, and bring clients into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals. ExpertCare serves Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan. Full and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to Recipients in their homes
- Assist with skill-building activities
- Encourage and support personal goal growth outside the home environment
- Follow care plans and work independently
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
