Afternoon and Evening Babysitter for School-Age Children

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter to supervise two children, aged 7 and 11, at a street fair in Oakland, CA. The children will be running a booth at a tattoo shop, applying temporary tattoos for other kids.

Schedule

The position begins on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM and ends on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 2:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Help the children manage the table during busy periods
• Supervise their activities
• Accompany them on breaks to get food or explore the fair
• If the event slows late in the day, walk them back to their house for downtime until the parent finishes work at 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Patient and enjoys being around children
• Able to adapt to changing needs throughout the day
• No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties required
• No pets in the household

Pay

Open to adjusting job hours and offering a higher rate in exchange for tattoo services.
