About the role
Join RDO Equipment Co. as a Product Specialist – Aftermarket, where your expertise will help drive customer success and business growth across the region. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor on Vermeer equipment, working closely with customers and sales teams to deliver value-added solutions, strengthen relationships, and maximize market share.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term success with equipment.
- Coordinate machine deliveries and provide onsite operation and maintenance training for customers.
- Market Growth: Increase market share and profitability for aftermarket products within your assigned territory.
- Sales Execution: Develop equipment packages, set pricing, pre-qualify customers, and prepare and present professional proposals.
- Product Demonstrations: Schedule and conduct product demos and technical presentations to showcase equipment capabilities.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify additional parts, service, and sales opportunities and refer leads to appropriate teams.
- Training Support: Provide ongoing product training to customers and internal team members.
Requirements
- Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work autonomously while managing responsibilities and territory priorities.
- Sales Experience: Prior sales experience and/or training, preferably within equipment or a related industry.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of local market conditions and customer applications.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence decisions.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid computer skills and ability to utilize internal systems for tracking and reporting.
- Professionalism: Dedication to safety, teamwork, and representing RDO Equipment Co. in a positive manner.

- Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
