Aftercare Support Staff - Saint Mary School - Buffalo Grove
About the role
Saint Mary School is searching for part-time After Care support staff to join a tradition of excellence in providing excellent academic experiences and religious formation to the children of the northwest suburbs since 1855.
We are looking for a candidate who supports the values of Catholic education and is focused on educating the whole child—intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Collaboration and willingness to work as a member of a team are essential traits.
Responsibilities
- Establish a positive relationship with students, families, and staff to foster a welcoming and supportive school environment.
- Assist the classroom teacher in carrying out lessons and supporting students.
Requirements
- 18 years old or older
- Love working with children
- Energetic and dependable
- Strive to always do what is best for students
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a preschool or daycare setting
- CPR trained
- First Aid trained
Pay
This position has an hourly rate of $15.00 - $16.50. An employee’s pay within the hourly rate will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
