Description
You'll be part of an innovative team advancing our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As an EHS Specialist III - Environmental Professional, you'll provide expert guidance and leadership in environmental health, safety, and sustainability programs across the organization.
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience in EHS in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry settings
- Preferred Fields of Study: Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field
- Professional certifications preferred: CHMM, PE, ASP, CSP or equivalent industry credentials
- EHS Certificate or advanced degree in related discipline advantageous
Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable EHS regulations, standards and management systems (EPA, ISO 14001/45001)
- Strong technical expertise in environmental compliance including air quality (Title V, MACT, and RMP requirements), hazardous waste management (RCRA, LQG), and wastewater treatment operations
- Knowledgeable in chemical safety, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene, and emergency response
- Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs and leading environmental initiatives
- Ability to participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with EHS software systems and Microsoft Office applications
