After School Teacher

The Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA is seeking a passionate, energetic, and caring **After School Teacher** to join our Early Learning team. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. **Responsibilities** Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD. Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity and exploration. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Observe and assess children's development to individualize learning. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom. Ensure compliance with PA licensing regulations and YMCA policies. **Qualifications** Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred (CDA considered for qualified candidates). Experience working with infant and toddler-aged children. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and positive behavior guidance.
