Responsibilities
- Facilitate a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum
- Lead high-energy, hands-on classes that blend entertainment and education, meeting once per week for 8-10 weeks
- Engage young children in the art of science
- Occasional daytime programming if availability allows
Qualifications
- Some experience working with groups of elementary-age (4-12) children (preferred)
- Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
- Must have reliable transportation that is not public or ride-share
- Must pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check
- Some college experience
- Fun and outgoing personality
Training in the curriculum and all materials are provided.
