Job Summary

To work with students in a tutorial capacity within various school programs in the Jennings School District.

About the role

Provides academic assistance in one-on-one or group settings in the core content subject areas. Maintains accurate records of all students receiving tutorial services. Works collaboratively with building administration, teachers, parents/guardians and students. Utilizes effective classroom management techniques. Establishes an effective rapport with students assigned. Identifies and selects different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs. Encourages and monitors the progress of individual students. Manages student behavior. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions
