About the role

As a Ministry-minded individual, you will lead elementary students in enrichment activities within our After School Program. Your primary role is to foster youth development in an after school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enrichment activities for elementary students
  • Foster youth development in an after school setting
  • Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Must have a valid driver's license or ID
  • Must pass a Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
  • Able to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
  • Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Requirements

  • Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
  • Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
  • Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
  • Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
  • Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
  • Legally allowed to work in the United States
  • Have dependable transportation

Schedule
