After School Program Assistants - Lower School

Description

Part-time ASP Assistants are needed for the Lower School Activity Day, Before School, and After School Program at the Goodrich Campus for grades K-5. Program hours vary: 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM on days when school is in session, and from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM on specified full days when school is not in session. Reports to the LS ASP Director. Mandatory two-hour training session prior to the start of the program year, with additional sessions throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise recreational activities
• Apply responsive discipline techniques
• Help students with study skills, organization, and homework completion
• Cookout activities, such as outdoor play, organized sports/games, art projects, board games, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work the designated hours during the academic school year
• Prior experience working in an educational setting preferred

Pay
