About the role

The After School Program Aide will assist in various duties that support the program and permanent staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the After School Program
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings
  • Provide snacks to the after-school program participants
  • Absorb the monitoring of program participants during activities
  • Take the lead in program activities
  • Absorb the transportation of program participants
  • Absorb the safe check-in and check-out of children participating in the after-school program
  • Absorb the cleaning and resetting of program areas
  • Absorb the cleaning of the kitchen and dining area
  • Assist with other related duties as required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CA driver’s license (required)
  • 21 years of age (required)
  • Experience working in an after-school program (required)
  • Experience with Microsoft programs (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Team player
  • Great communication skills

Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Equipment Used: Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
