After School Program Aide
About the role
The After School Program Aide will assist in various duties that support the program and permanent staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the After School Program
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
- Provide snacks to the after-school program participants
- Absorb the monitoring of program participants during activities
- Take the lead in program activities
- Absorb the transportation of program participants
- Absorb the safe check-in and check-out of children participating in the after-school program
- Absorb the cleaning and resetting of program areas
- Absorb the cleaning of the kitchen and dining area
- Assist with other related duties as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- CA driver’s license (required)
- 21 years of age (required)
- Experience working in an after-school program (required)
- Experience with Microsoft programs (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Team player
- Great communication skills
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Equipment Used: Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
