After School Group Leader / Early Learning Education Professional

About the role

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader you will help shape meaningful after‑school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You will lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities such as World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• Ability to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.
• Flexibility, reliability, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Commitment to child safety and adherence to procedures.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

2:45 pm – 6:30 pm, Monday – Friday (no weekends, part‑time).
