After School Group Leader
About the role
This role offers part-time work during afternoons, focusing on creating engaging environments for children aged 6-12. The schedule is flexible to accommodate your life, with typical shifts from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on weekdays.
Responsibilities
- Lead games, sports, and recreational activities
- Plan crafts, STEM projects, and enrichment experiences
- Help students with homework and academic support
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Encourage teamwork, kindness, and respectful behavior
- Keep programs organized, safe, and fun
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude are essential, along with being dependable and ready to lead by example. Dependable transportation is required as you will need to travel between locations.
Qualifications
Experience working with children is preferred but not required. Leadership skills and the ability to build positive relationships are key.

Pay

Schedule
Monday through Friday afternoons, typical shifts from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Wednesday shifts begin around 12:30 PM for early-release schools. No evenings, no weekends, no holiday shifts.
