Position Summary
As an After School Floater, you will assist staff in implementing age-appropriate activities in a safe, supervised, and structured environment. You will travel to multiple locations to support the program and provide direct supervision of children.
Schedule
The After School Program runs Monday through Friday from dismissal until 5:30pm or 6:00pm. Morning programs start from 7:00am/7:15am until the start of school. Five-day availability is preferred but not required.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent with one-year direct experience in child care
- Cleared through NYS OCFS, including background checks, medical clearance, and fingerprinting
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Valid NYS Drivers License
- Independent reliable transportation to report to a JFK location as scheduled
- Physical requirements: Very active, walking, bending, kneeling, running, twisting, squatting, lifting up to 10 pounds, standing for prolonged periods, and frequent bending
Travel Requirements
Must have a valid NYS Drivers License and be able to travel to various site locations as needed to maintain OCFS ratio compliance.

This position is very active and requires walking, bending, kneeling, running, twisting, and squatting. It includes prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending. Generally, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
