After-School Club Leader

About the Role

As a Part-Time Club48 Team Member you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide pre-teens with a fun, interactive space where they can explore, connect, and thrive.

Time Commitment

5–10 hours per week, flexible on days.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and checking in Club48 participants at "The Igloo" hub
• Supervising and facilitating activities in multiple Club48 zones (Game Room, Rooftop, Basketball Court, Yoga Studio)
• Encouraging positive peer interactions, teamwork, and creativity
• Enforcing tech-use policies and guiding kids through tech-free play after 4:00 PM
• Leading games, group activities, and spontaneous fun that keeps tweens engaged
• Supporting behavior expectations and maintaining a safe, respectful environment
• Collaborating with fellow counselors and management to plan special events
• Distributing and tracking Club48 tickets earned through participation
• Promoting healthy choices, including guiding kids through food ordering from 1320 Market

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or pre-teens in a recreational, camp, or educational setting
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and confident managing small groups
• Understands the balance of structure and freedom that pre-teens need
• Comfortable enforcing program rules while still having fun
• Communicates well with both children and adults
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain it upon hire)
• Available for weekday (3–6 PM) and/or weekend (12–4 PM) shifts
