About the Role

Join our Community Education team for the 2026/2027 school year as an After School Childcare Instructor at PACT Charter School. PACT is focused on building students of character by emphasizing respect, citizenship, gratitude, compassion, integrity, cooperation, self-control, responsibility, and perseverance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage students in after-school childcare activities.
  • Option to hire an additional instructor if student count exceeds 22 (both instructors will be paid $25 per hour).

Schedule

  • Days: Monday–Friday (only 3 Fridays in Q1: September 11, 18, and October 9).
  • Duration: 9 weeks (August 24–October 22).
  • Time: 3:30–5:15 p.m.
  • Location: Elementary Campus (7250 East Ramsey Parkway, Ramsey, MN).
  • Max Students: 24 per session.

Pay

  • $25 per hour if registered student count is below 22.
  • $50 per hour if registered student count is 22 or more.

PACT is situated in Ramsey, Minnesota—a family-friendly community in Anoka County with a population of around 25,000, located 25 miles northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Ramsey offers scenic beauty along the Mississippi and Rum Rivers, an extensive trail system, parks, and community events like concerts and farmers' markets. The elementary campus is adjacent to The Draw, a park featuring an amphitheater and water feature.

Transportation options include U.S. Highways 10/169, State Highway 47, and the Northstar Commuter Rail, which connects to downtown Minneapolis.
