About the role
Our Intervention Specialists directly contributes to the memorable education of students within the Nassau and Suffolk County Special Education Program. They work directly with students and are part of a supportive, inclusive culture dedicated to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder reach their highest potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one support to children
- Work in an afterschool setting
- Communicate and collaborate with families and colleagues
- Implement evidence-based practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience working with children in the Special Education Setting
- NYS certification (TA, RBT, etc.)
