After-school Babysitter for Preteens

About the role

We are seeking a mature and responsible after-school babysitter/driver for our 12-year-old twins in Richmond, VA. The position involves picking up the children from school and transporting them to scheduled activities, so a safe and reliable car is necessary. Ideal candidates should be flexible, have great kitchen skills, and enjoy engaging in conversations. No pets are present in our home.

Schedule

• Approximately 3 days per week
• Between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
• Exact days and times to be determined based on the children's activities

Responsibilities

• Pick up children from school
• Drive children to scheduled activities
• Prepare meals/snacks (kitchen skills required)
• Engage with children in conversation and activities

Requirements

• Safe, reliable personal vehicle
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying activity times
• Strong cooking/kitchen skills
• Enjoy interacting and conversing with pre-teens
• Mature and responsible demeanor

Pay

$15 per hour
