After-School Babysitter for 6-Year-Old

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and friendly babysitter to assist with after-school pickups in Austin, TX from September 1, 2026, to December 15, 2026. This role is ideal for college students with a consistent schedule and offers an opportunity to earn extra money with minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up our 6-year-old child from school and transport them safely home.
• Follow a set route: downtown to Westlake, concluding in the Riverplace area (approximately 2 hours daily).

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, starting at approximately 3:00 PM.
• Duration: September 1, 2026 – December 15, 2026.

Pay

• $20 per hour with a 2-hour minimum daily pay.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Prior babysitting experience preferred but not required.

Additional Notes

• No additional childcare duties (e.g., feeding, bathing, or bedtime supervision) are required.
• References from past sitters available upon request.
