About the role
We are seeking a dependable and trustworthy after-school babysitter for our three children, ages 5, 9, and 12, in Washington, DC. This is an ideal opportunity for a local college or university student.
Responsibilities
- After-school pick-up from the bus
- Transportation to extracurricular activities using a family vehicle
- Preparing snacks and dinner
- Managing the children's laundry
- Grocery shopping
- Helping to maintain order in the children's belongings and common areas
Requirements
- Babysitting experience
- Good references
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable, organized, proactive, flexible, and professional
Schedule
Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, typically between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM, with 15 guaranteed hours per week and potential for additional hours. Occasional overnight care opportunities may be available with advance notice when parents travel for work.
Pay
Compensation is $25 per hour.
