After School Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and responsible babysitter to provide care for our two children, a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, in Charleston, SC. The primary responsibility will be to pick them up from their elementary school, located about a mile from our home in Avondale, and care for them until we return home.

Responsibilities

• Pick the children up from their elementary school (about a mile from the home in Avondale)
• Care for the children until the parents return home
• Help with homework
• Provide supervision
• Keep the children active and entertained in the afternoons

Schedule

• Three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM
• Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 6:15 PM to 9:15 PM

Requirements

• Reliable transportation for school pickups
• Comfortable around a friendly Clumber Spaniel (no pet care needed)
• Punctual and caring
• Experience working with young children
