After-School and Evening Babysitter

About the role

A warm family in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time babysitter for after-school and evening care. This role is ideal for a college student or recent graduate who enjoys working with children and has strong academic skills. The babysitter will work with three children: a 7th grader, a 5th grader, and a toddler.

Responsibilities

• Providing after-school snacks
• Assisting with homework
• Playing with the toddler

Requirements

• Ability to tutor 7th-grade advanced math
• Reliable and communicative
• Capable of committing through the school year
• Two references and a background check are required

Skills

• Spanish language skills are a plus

No driving is required. This opportunity is located in Woodley Park, conveniently near public transportation.

Schedule

The schedule is 3-4 afternoons a week, from approximately 4 PM to 8 PM, with the possibility of additional hours on evenings or weekends.
