About the role
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students in their daily activities and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to students after school.
- Implement behavior management strategies to assist students with diverse needs.
- Educate students through engaging activities that promote learning and personal development.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Offer first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all individuals.
- Foster a Christian counseling approach when addressing emotional or behavioral challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is essential.
- Able to supervise students after school while they complete homework or are at play.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others succeed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all individuals.
- ETRIS certification a must.
- CMG Connect certification and background check approved.
