After Care Educator

HOKALI helps schools book, organize, and manage after-school programs and camps. We partner with school communities to create structured, engaging environments for students after the school day ends, with a focus on consistency, safety, and high-quality program delivery. In this role, you will help create a positive after-school experience for students and families by leading a group with energy, care, and clear structure. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, can keep a group engaged, and brings a calm, steady presence to the day-to-day flow of an after-care program. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a group of up to approximately 20 students from TK through 8th grade after schoolKeep every child safe throughout the programRun recreational activities and gamesHelp students with homeworkManage behavior using positive reinforcementHandle snack time and outdoor playKeep attendance and incident recordsFollow HOKALI's lesson plansWork with support from an on-site Site Coordinator Requirements What makes someone a great fit We're looking for someone with proven, hands-on experience running a group of children, not just being around kids. You should already know how to get a group of children to listen, keep them engaged, and maintain a safe, structured environment.
