Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and integrate models within the AFSIM framework.
- Design and implement simulation capabilities using Python, C/C++, and MATLAB.
- Build and maintain threat models, flight path models, and Electronic Warfare (EW) effects.
- Support Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) and strategic deterrence modeling efforts.
- Perform model integration, testing, validation, and verification (VV&T) activities.
- Collaborate with Navy warfare centers, national laboratories, and industry partners.
- Contribute to rapid prototyping and development of next-generation simulation capabilities.
- Support integration of simulation tools within larger system architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with AFSIM or similar tools.
- Experience with software development, systems engineering, and model integration.
- Experience building mission scenarios.
- Security+ CE or equivalent certification required.
- Prior experience supporting DoD laboratories, warfare centers, or simulation programs.
Clearance Requirement
Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain higher-level access.
Compensation
Pay range: $160,000 - $210,000 (Based on years of relevant experience)
