About the Role
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers patient care within the scope of their training and governing-board agreement, collaborating with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction. This role is based at a franchised business location, so specific duties and benefits may vary between franchises.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories; review patient records; develop comprehensive medical assessments; and order appropriate laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies based on patient complaint, demographics, and condition.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses; institute therapy or refer patients to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, or community resources.
- Provide emergency measures and stabilization in critical situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status, management, and treatment plans.
- Offer health care instructions and promotion guidance to patients, families, and significant others.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (1 year of ER/Urgent Care experience preferred).
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice.
- DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.

Pay
$65.00 - $85.00 per hour.
