Applications are being accepted to build a qualified candidate pool for anticipated Aesthetic Teacher openings for the 2026/2027 school year at our Mesa, AZ campus.

About the role

The Aesthetics teacher will prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills in the science of skin care and develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of the industry basics, including waxing, makeup techniques, facials, and general knowledge of the spa industry.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare students with technical knowledge and skills in skin care.
  • Teach industry basics such as waxing, makeup techniques, facials, and general spa industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Aesthetics.
  • Valid Cosmetology or Aesthetics instructor's license from the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Industrial and Emerging Technologies.
  • Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
  • Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957.

Qualifications

Placement in the salary range will be based on a combination of education, industry-related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Pay

$50,651.00 - $84,636.03

Schedule

Full Time, 10 Month Calendar

EVIT offers 50 career technical education programs, as well as Associate degrees in Nursing and Surgical Technology. Programs prepare students for state and national licensing, industry certifications, internships, and the opportunity to earn college credit.

EVIT programs are tuition-free for high school students who live within the following school districts: Apache Junction, Cave Creek, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Higley, J.O. Combs, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, and Tempe. Adult programs have additional fees associated with them.
