About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe and effective treatments to clients while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role includes performing laser-based or aesthetic procedures, educating clients on skincare and post-treatment care, and maintaining compliance with medical and organizational standards. The RN collaborates with the clinic team to ensure a welcoming and professional environment while upholding the highest standards of safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Treatment Delivery
- Perform non-invasive treatments, including laser therapies, under the direction of medical protocols and company standards (all treatment types, and timeframes required).
- Absess client eligibility for treatments by reviewing medical history, obtaining informed consent, and addressing client questions or concerns.
- Administer treatments with precision and care, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction throughout the procedure.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client treatment records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Client Education and Experience
- Educate clients on the benefits, risks, and expected outcomes of treatments, as well as post-treatment care instructions.
- Build trust and rapport with clients, ensuring they feel confident and well-informed about their care plan.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a positive and professional client experience.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to medical or clinic leadership.
- Team Collaboration
- Partner with the clinic team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment.
- Communicate effectively with clinic staff to ensure seamless client care and clinic operations.
- Support clinic goals by promoting additional services, skincare products, or treatment packages to clients.
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, documenting and reporting any issues to clinic leadership.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new procedures, and safety standards through continuing education.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate License and Certifications: Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Qualifications: Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Physical: This role requires long periods of sitting & standing. Individuals are required to lift and move inventory and other clinic assets.
Skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience with appointment scheduling platforms such as Zenoti or comparable tools.
- Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, customer service, or sales.
- Knowledge of skin types, treatment indications, and pre/post-care requirements.
- Advanced interpersonal skills to create a positive and comfortable client experience while delivering treatments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to educate clients.
- Ability to effectively problem solve in order to assess client needs and address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Strong team collaboration to work seamlessly with clinic staff to achieve shared goals.
- Clinically competent, professional, compassionate, and able to provide safe and therapeutic services.
- Attention to detail in following medical protocols and prioritize client safety.
- Strong listening and conversational skills.
