Responsibilities
- Congduct comprehensive, good-faith patient examinations, including review of medical history, to evaluate patient needs and determine clinical suitability for aesthetic medical procedures and treatments offered by the practice;
- Perform aesthetic medical procedures and treatments, including but not limited to injectables, cosmetic light and energy-based therapies, and other procedures involving the skin, face, and body;
- Accurately and promptly document all patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR);
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including management of acute complaints and follow-up visits, as directed or supervised by the physician(s) or other authorized senior providers;
- Promote patient retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care;
- Provide patient education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare;
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice;
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required;
- Represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions.
- Assist other providers with their patients and the practice's needs as directed;
- Assist and support CPP's and the practice's support team as directed;
- Demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business as an individual and as a team member;
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements;
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols to protect patients, staff, and the work environment;
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position;
- Participate in continuing education programs, review relevant literature, and collaborate with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetic medicine;
- Conduct skin care consultations, recommend retail products, and cross-promote MedSpa services to enhance patient care and clinic revenue.
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, ensuring all equipment is sanitized, and supplies are stocked.
- Oversee inventory tracking, ensuring timely orders, and proper stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Collaborate with staff to plan and execute patient appreciation events, open houses, or other patient engagement activities.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the clinic’s daily operations and patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in the state of Ohio
- 2+ years’ experience as a nurse injector is strongly preferred
- Experience in a clinical or bedside hospital setting required
- Professional, warm, confident, and compassionate bedside manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with the medical team
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in patient assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $30 to $40/hour, depending on experience, with additional uncapped commissions, performance-based incentives and benefits.
