Responsibilities
- Translate technical drawings and specs into accurate part layouts and assemblies.
- Perform fitting and welding on aluminum and stainless steel to aerospace standards.
- Use MIG, TIG, and stick welding to produce consistent, high-strength joints.
- Inspect finished work against specifications; make necessary corrections.
- Partner with engineers and peers to troubleshoot fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workstation.
- Pursue ongoing development in aerospace welding techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding/fabrication certification preferred.
- Experience as a fitter/welder, preferably in aerospace.
- Knowledge of welding methods and aerospace-grade materials.
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Adequate attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
- Ability to solve problems independently and collaborate effectively.
