About the role

We are hiring for multiple NDT positions in X-ray, FPI, and UT. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to discuss specific roles they are interested in and qualified for. Positions are open at CPP Syracuse, located in Chittenango, NY, with openings on a variety of shifts. Entry-level minimum pay is $24.00/hr, with higher starting pay available depending on position, skills, and work experience. Second shift differential is $2/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate equipment such as FPI processing line, PSM-5 panels, and backlights.
  • Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate, and document data in accordance with codes, standards, and other contractual documents.
  • Responsible for shooting and processing of X-ray film and/or digital film.
  • Work autonomously while verifying castings final wall tolerances meet acceptance criteria per customer specifications.
  • Create Non-conformance documents.
  • Set up and verify calibration of all Ultrasound equipment including quick checks and veneers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of quality or inspection experience preferred.
  • Ability to achieve Level II certification.
  • Candidates offered employment are required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background study prior to employment.

Pay

Entry-level minimum pay is $24.00/hr. Higher starting pay available depending on position, skills, and work experience. Second shift differential is $2/hr.
