Aerospace NDT Level II CR & FPI Technicians

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is seeking experienced Level II CR (Computed Radiography) and Level II FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) Technicians to support a leading aerospace manufacturing customer. This is a contract role lasting 6+ months.

Requirements

• Level II CR Technicians:
  • Current Level II CR/RT certification in accordance with NAS-410
  • Extensive experience performing CR inspections in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience inspecting Inconel castings
  • Experience interpreting radiographic images and evaluating aerospace castings
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace inspection standards and procedures
  • Complete and verifiable training and OJT documentation
• Level II FPI Technicians:
  • Current Level II FPI certification in accordance with NAS-410
  • Extensive experience performing FPI on aerospace components
  • Hands-on experience inspecting Inconel castings
  • Experience identifying and evaluating surface discontinuities in aerospace castings
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace inspection standards and procedures
  • Complete and verifiable training and OJT documentation
• Inconel Castings Experience: Demonstrated experience inspecting Inconel investment castings or other aerospace Inconel castings is required. Candidates must provide supporting certification and qualification records for QA review.
• ITAR Requirement: Due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements, applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
