Key Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings, 3D models, and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
- Verify compliance with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) and aerospace engineering standards.
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability, ensuring dimensions, materials, and finishes support efficient production.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and improve design quality.
- Maintain engineering drawing hierarchy, aircraft applicability, and configuration control to ensure accurate product definition and traceability.
- Support configuration management processes and engineering change activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience with aerospace CAD/PLM/PDM systems such as SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, CATIA V5, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, engineering drawing interpretation, and GD&T.
- Familiarity with configuration management principles and engineering documentation control.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
