Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to assess the layout and conditions for Aerobarrier installation.
- Set up equipment and prepare the building for air sealing.
- Apply Aerobarrier sealant using specialized equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor the sealing process to achieve optimal results, adjusting equipment settings as needed.
- Work efficiently to complete installations within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure proper sealing and identify any areas needing touch-up.
- Perform blower door tests to measure air leakage reduction and validate the effectiveness of the Aerobarrier system.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by project managers, contractors, or homeowners regarding the installation.
- Document installation details, including pre-and post-installation photographs, measurements, and test results.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and hours worked on each project.
Role Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Installation experience is a plus
- Comfortable using standard hand tools
- Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
