About the role

This role involves improving service technology with the incorporation of customer data or monitoring reliability, availability, maintenance, security, and other performance parameters of engines/products.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting installed base activities such as solving customer problems, fleet issues, implementing service bulletins, monitoring and diagnostics, and fleet configuration.
  • Managing fleet data, failure management.
  • Developing expertise in one's discipline.
  • Serving as a resource for proven procedures and quality.
  • Having knowledge of latest technical developments in one's field.
  • Contributing to strategy and policy development and ensuring implementation within the responsibility area.
  • Having foundational knowledge of best practices and integration of one's area into other areas; having foundational knowledge of competition and factors that distinguish the company on the market.
  • Using judgment to make decisions or moderately complex tasks/problems in areas such as operations/product management, production, technology, or construction.
  • Considering existing solutions from a new perspective.
  • Using technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
  • Using multiple internal and limited external sources outside of one's function to make decisions.
  • Serving as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Leading small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.

Requirements

This role requires extensive experience. The knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Desired qualities include very good verbal and written communication skills, strong social skills and leadership qualities, demonstrated problem-solving ability, demonstrated project/program management capability, documented project management skills, and the ability to document, plan, promote, and execute programs.

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
