Aerie - Merchandise Leader (Part-Time)

About the role

The Merchandise Leader is the Merchandising Team Leader's right-hand person in ensuring the store adheres to AEO Brand Visual Standards. The role involves executing effective Floorsets, managing marketing and merchandising updates, and ensuring the store is "guest ready" through effective replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Support driving an outstanding guest experience in partnership with the Merchandising Team Leader by ensuring the store is representative of AEO Brand Standards.
• Drive killer Floorset execution by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store are effectively executed to Floorset standards.
• #Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment, ensuring the store stays in top shape.
• Ensure the merchandising team understands and maintains AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Support the merchandising team's #1 priority being the guest experience, championing a culture of recognition, and celebrating wins with the team.

Requirements

• Love AE and Aerie products.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have flexible availability, being present early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Have strong retail merchandising and visual skills with a history of retail work.

Qualifications

• Commitment to store safety standards and shrink-reducing strategies.
• Adherence to AEO policies and procedures.
• Experience with AE and Aerie products.
• Ability to work with REAL people and participate in store contests for free merchandise and other prizes.

Pay

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location. Paid sick leave and AEO may provide REAL rewards at its discretion. Paid Time Off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level and type, job location, employment classification (part-time or full-time / exempt or non-exempt), and years of service.
