Aerialist Performer

About the role

The Dancing Horses Theater is seeking Aerialist Performers for their 90-minute equestrian theatrical show. Performers will work with horses, including grooming, cleaning, lunging, and riding, while also performing aerial acts on silks and lyra.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial acts on silks and lyra
• Work with horses in various disciplines such as Haute E'cole, dancing horses, single and multiple liberty, trick training, vaulting, rosinback riding, and more
• Groom, clean, and lunge horses
• Ride horses during the show
• Train alongside professional trainers

Requirements

• Horse experience
• Experience with aerial silks and/or lyra
• United States residency

Qualifications

• Strong physical fitness
• Ability to work well with horses and other performers
• Passion for aerial arts and equestrian performance

Skills

• Aerial skills (silks and lyra)
• Equestrian skills (grooming, lunging, riding)
• Teamwork and communication skills
