Aerial Lift Service Technician
About the role
Perform routine, 90-day, and annual inspections on aerial work platforms (including boom lifts and scissor lifts) to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on aerial equipment both in the shop and in the field. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs using appropriate tools (including torque wrenches). Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately using web-based systems and electronic tablets. Maintain equipment safety decals, service readiness, and a clean, organized work area; assist with equipment loading, delivery, and pickup as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with construction or industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing on equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; minimum age of 21 and ability to maintain a DOT medical card
- Basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills for customer and team interaction
Pay
$28-35.00 hourly rate of pay based on experience. Paid weekly.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, overtime based on business need.
