Aeration Technician

About the Role

Lawn Doctor of Royal Oak is looking for hard working and dedicated individuals to join our ever-growing team. If you enjoy working outside, working independently on your own route, a variety of seasonal work, learning new skills, and prefer a smaller family-oriented business, this role may be right for you.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently aerate and seed lawns.
• Evaluate lawns and note any issues or concerns; diagnose and recommend services based on customer needs.
• Educate customers on best practices, products used, and results by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Drive assigned company vehicle safely.
• Safely operate ride-on machines and other assigned equipment.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness and desire to learn about the lawn care industry.
• Ability to follow directions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Be a self-starter who can also work and thrive in a team environment.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including independently lifting and carrying 50 lbs., walking, standing, and bending for moderate periods of time.

Qualifications

Lawn care industry experience is a plus but not required.
