About the role

Forrest T. Jones & Company, Inc., and its affiliates (“FTJ”), provide insurance and insurance-related services to clients, corporations, employers, and individuals. This role is mostly responsible for maintaining, designing, and developing features within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) full stack. The Application Engineer III will partner with other team members and business stakeholders to deliver new features and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate effort estimates to the Team Lead and/or Project Manager and project teams as appropriate
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines across AEM projects
  • Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and Sling models for dynamic content delivery
  • Deliver testing support including design, execution, and documentation of test scripts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the AEM environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of AEM full-stack development experience
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) full stack development, including Java, Sling Models, OSGi, and front-end integration
  • Building and consuming RESTful APIs including Postman and GraphQL
  • Ability to work accurately and diligently under pressure on multiple projects
  • Experience documenting and following specifications and challenging business logic where appropriate
  • Knowledge of SCRUM methodology and Agile practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Skills
