About the role

The AEM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Adobe Experience Manager solutions across AEM 6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements Adobe Experience Manager solutions across AEM 6.5, AEMaaCS, and EDS platforms
  • Develop, test, debug, and deploy Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, workflows, services, and integrations
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code while following established development standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with Architects, Senior Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams to implement approved technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve technical skills and code quality
  • Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution efforts
  • Identify technical risks, defects, and optimization opportunities and communicate them to technical leads
  • Contribute effort estimates for assigned development tasks and support project delivery timelines
  • Stay current with AEM development practices, Adobe platform capabilities, and emerging technologies
  • Support the implementation of enterprise-scale AEM projects while working within established architectural and implementation guidelines
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning, delivery, and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience
  • Strong Java development skills and experience with Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, and related AEM frameworks
  • Experience developing AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
  • Experience working within cross-functional development teams delivering enterprise digital experiences
  • Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn from technical leaders and peers
