About the role
The AEM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Adobe Experience Manager solutions across AEM 6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements Adobe Experience Manager solutions across AEM 6.5, AEMaaCS, and EDS platforms
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, workflows, services, and integrations
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code while following established development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with Architects, Senior Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams to implement approved technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve technical skills and code quality
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution efforts
- Identify technical risks, defects, and optimization opportunities and communicate them to technical leads
- Contribute effort estimates for assigned development tasks and support project delivery timelines
- Stay current with AEM development practices, Adobe platform capabilities, and emerging technologies
- Support the implementation of enterprise-scale AEM projects while working within established architectural and implementation guidelines
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning, delivery, and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience
- Strong Java development skills and experience with Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, and related AEM frameworks
- Experience developing AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
- Experience working within cross-functional development teams delivering enterprise digital experiences
- Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn from technical leaders and peers
